WherePup is a small, private place to keep the life you're having with your pups, on your own or with one person you invite. The first beach. The café they were unexpectedly good in. The same park again, in the rain.
Coming to iOS and Android. Not released yet.

One photo or five, a title and the date. Choose the pup — or both pups — then add the place, a note, moods and the rest if you want them. Leave them out if you don't.
The first details stay close at hand and the optional ones fold away. It is designed to be quick enough for the walk home, so the ordinary days have somewhere to go as well.
Memories collect on a corkboard — polaroids, paper cards, brass pins, the odd strip of tape. It fills up in the order things actually happened, which is to say a bit unevenly.
Give it a year and it stops looking like a list of entries. First snow, the holiday you nearly didn't book, the same park in the rain, a Sunday that was nothing much — all pinned up together.

The timeline fills in on its own, three months at a time. Open a period to see its days, close it when you are done, and scroll back through the years in order.
Chapters are the ones you make. Pick out the memories that belong together, call it whatever you'd call it out loud — Summer in Cornwall. Peanut's first year. Christmas at Mum's. They don't have to sit next to each other in time.

Every place your dog has been gets a page and a stamp of its own — London, Cornwall, Kyoto. Broad strokes: a city or a stretch of coast, not a street.
Open one and the rest usually comes back with it. The flat you were staying in, what the weather did all week, the pub that let him sit under the table.

Keep one or two pups on the same board, journal and passport. Use it on your own, or invite one other pawrent into the household you share. Nobody else can find it.
Your photos are stored privately and shown only to the people in your household. There's no feed and no profile for anyone to find.
One person you invite can see the same pups, add memories and read the journal. One household membership covers you both.
Download a dated record of the shared journal — profiles, memories, chapters, places and photo details — from the app.

I always wanted a dog growing up. When I finally got Peanut, I didn't expect him to change how I saw the place I already lived. Parks I'd walked past for years turned into somewhere we went every week. Weekends started to revolve around anywhere we could take him.
Then the ordinary days started to count as well. A café he was surprisingly good in. Wet walks with nobody else out. Sunday afternoons in the same park we'd already been to a hundred times, which I'd have forgotten entirely if he hadn't been there.
Dogs are with us for one part of our lives. We're almost all of theirs. I wanted somewhere to keep ours.
