Delete your WherePup account

Delete your account in the app

Open Profile → Account & privacy → Delete account. WherePup asks you to type a confirmation before deletion starts. Deletion is permanent, so download your journal record first if you want to keep it. The export contains journal and photograph details, but not the photograph files themselves.

If you share a household

• Household owner: remove the contributor before deleting your account. Deleting the owner's account then deletes the household journal and its private photographs.
• Contributor: leave the household before deleting your account. Content you added remains with the shared journal, but you lose access and your name may be replaced with a general attribution.

Cancel subscriptions separately

Deleting your WherePup account does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. If you are the household owner, manage or cancel the subscription through your Apple or Google account before deleting WherePup.

If you cannot access the app

Email hello@wherepup.com from the address used for your account with the subject “Delete my WherePup account”. We will need to verify that the request is yours. Never send us your password or a sign-in code.
