What the website uses

The current WherePup website does not set cookies. It does not use advertising, cross-site tracking, session replay or PostHog. Because the current code does not place or read non-essential information on your device, we do not show a cookie banner.

This page covers the public website only. The WherePup mobile app stores information needed to keep you signed in and load your private journal, and uses PostHog for product analytics. Those activities are explained in the Privacy Notice rather than treated as website cookies.

Cloudflare Web Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate website visits and page performance. In the current implementation, the analytics beacon does not set a cookie, use local storage or create a cross-site identifier on your device. It sends limited information needed to produce website statistics to Cloudflare.

Google Fonts

The website requests the Lora and Nunito typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser makes that request, Google receives technical information needed to deliver the font files, such as your IP address and browser request information. Your browser may cache those files under its normal settings. WherePup does not ask Google Fonts to set an advertising or analytics cookie.

If this changes

We will review this notice and the need for consent before adding technology that stores or reads non-essential information on a visitor's device. You can also use browser or content-blocking controls to restrict third-party requests.
